Satsuma Blend #1
Satsuma is a mostly citrus blend that focuses on Mandarin and Tangerine aromas as top notes.
The use of Fir Needle and Cedarwood are for some sense of balance, even though this blend
does not conform to the standard suggested mix of 30% top / 50% middle / 20% bottom notes.
Cedarwood is important as a fixative, it slows down the evaporation in which it binds with. Since
citrus oils and all top notes are know for fast evaporation, it is best to slow this down for a longer
lasting effect. We found that letting the mixture sit overnight made for a more complete blend.

Patio Blend #1
This blend was born out of a realization that citronella oil has a much nicer spell than the citronella
candles that are sold to repel insects. By adding several other top, middle and bottom notes,
the synergy between all the other oils helps this become a diverse bland that can be changed
to keep you from getting bored of the main citronella ingredient. By adding a variety of middle
and bottom notes, you can keep this blend changing all summer long. The biggest challenge
you might encounter will be finding a burner that will keep lit with a slight breeze blowing.
